At Fuji Speedway on November 15, 2025, before the main NASCAR demo during a Super Taikyu event, Toyota CEO Akio Toyoda gave half of the brand’s US customers the middle finger. Wearing a Trump/Vance 2024 tee shirt and a MAGA hat, Toyoda took to the microphone to show that Toyota stands with racist assholes. It’s strong statement from Toyota’s CEO that the scary woke communist leftist extremist terrorists can go ahead and cry their liberal tears in a car that isn’t built by Toyota.
Toyoda pulled up short of using the microphone to make a personal plea to Japanese Americans to self-deport and suggest that Toyota partner with President Trump’s administration to build internment camps for Japanese Americans in the US again. However, it’s clear from his sartorial statement that he welcomes Toyota’s non-white employees in the US be told to “go back to where they came from.”
According to unofficial sources, Toyoda was considering wearing a confederate flag shirt, but decided it wasn’t a strong enough statement. “Nothing really says you unashamedly support all the bad -isms and human rights abuse like a MAGA hat,” we were told by a source wishing to remain nameless.
We’ve contacted Toyota for comment, asking if this means that Toyota will be pulling out of the American market as it’s not an American company. As of yet, we have no official reply and will update if we get one.
